Run in the sun?!
This was a challenging run - something didn't feel right in my lower legs so I knew I shouldn't stay out long, given my previous shin splint injury.
But it was such a nice day and it made a change feeling the sun on me, after what feels like an eternal winter. Sure enough, it's clouded over again with a bitter wind, but for that short run it really felt like Spring had arrived.
Because it was light and dry (what a rarity!), I didn't hurry back inside and stretched for a full half hour in the fresh air; chucking in a few yoga poses along a peaceful canal.
Not bad for the Easter weekend.
